Senior citizen found murdered at her residence, police suspect

A 64-year-old woman was today found murdered at her residence in Nangloi area and police suspect insider's role in the killing as no valuable is missing from the spot.
According to police, Pushpa Devi lived alone in Rajdhani Park area of Nangloi. Her husband died a few years and her two sons with their families reside in Tikari Kalan village of Delhi.
Police said there were injury marks on the victim's head which suggest that a blunt object was used to kill her.
Pushpa also ran a grocery shop in her house, said a senior police officer, adding police were investigating the case from all angles, including property dispute.

"She was found murdered at her residence this morning. Police suspect insider's role in the murder as no valuables are missing from the spot. Pushpa's neighbours also didn't hear any noise from her house. Besides, there was also no sign of forced entry seen on the spot," said the senior police officer.
He also said police interrogated Pushpa's sons and would soon make arrests in the case.
