Senior IAS officers deputed to monitor crop loss assessment
Press Trust of India Chandigarh Haryana government today deputed senior IAS officers, including the rank of Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), to monitor crop loss assessment, disbursal of compensation to farmers and wheat procurement.
The state government has set April 15 as last date for submission of assessment reports by Deputy Commissioners, an official spokesman said here.
Among senior IAS officers who were allotted districts are Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), Power, Rajan Gupta (Yamunanagar), ACS Mines and Geology Roshan Lal (Sirsa), ACS Tourism S S Dhillon (Palwal), ACS Public Works Hardeep Kumar (Bhiwani) ACS, Food and Supplies S S Prasad (Jhajjar), ACS Health Ram Niwas (Mewat), and ACS, Town and Country Planning P Raghavendra Rao (Gurgaon) among others.
IAS officers in the rank of Principal Secretaries who were allotted other districts are Principal Secretary (PS) Public Health Engineering Alok Nigam (Kaithal) PS Irrigation R R Jowel (Ambala), PS Technical Education Dheera Khandelwal (Kurukshetra), PS Industries and IT Devender Singh (Sonepat), PS Secondary Education T C Gupta (Fatehabad) and PS Transport and Civil Aviation Avtar Singh (Faridabad) among others.
