Senior journalist Kalpesh Yagnik dies

Senior journalist Kalpesh Yagnik died today after suffering a cardiac arrest here, family sources said.

He was 55.

Yagnik, group editor of popular Hindi daily 'Dainik Bhaskar', left behind his mother, wife and two daughters.

His mortal remains were consigned to flames at the Tilak Nagar crematorium here.

According to the sources, Yagnik suffered a heart attack last night at his office. He was rushed to a hospital where he died during treatment in the early hours of today.

Meanwhile, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan condoled the death of the senior journalist.
