Senior Meghalaya journalist passes away

Gupta (55) is survived by his wife and three sons.

He had endeared himself to the journalist fraternity and the people in general with his honest and straight-forward approach.

He was associated with several media organisations, both print and broadcast.

Gupta who was the treasurer of the Shillong Press Club had also co-founded the All Meghalaya Journalists' Union, of which he was elected the general secretary recently.
