Serial on Sage creates record

Creating an all time record as a Bengali serial, Sadhok Bamakhyapa, based on the life and preachings of the sage, crossed the 2500 episode mark.
"Proud to portray the role of the Kali-worshipper saint. When I face the camera I am possessed with a divine feeling," actor-singer Arindam Ganguly told PTI here.
"The telecast of the 2500 episode few days back on ETV shows people'are still rooted to religion and spirituality," he said.
Director Sandip Ray also wished Arindam, the actor, and said it was a welcome break from the usual stuff dished out in tele sops in the present days.
