Services, Bengal play out draw

Services and Bengal played out a 1-1 draw in their Group A match of the ongoing 69th National football tournament for Santosh Trophy at Guru Nanak Stadium here today.
Services took the lead in the second minute of the match itself when Arjun Tudu netted the ball. But in the very next minute, Bengal striker Raja Das scored the equaliser.
At half time score was 1-1.
Both the teams went all out to score in the second half but fumbled at crucial junctures.
Services, with eight points, are sitting at the top of the Group A points table followed by Bengal with similar points.

Tomorrow Punjab and Maharashtra will play last match of Group A.
It would be a do-or-die match for Punjab to qualify for semifinals, having only five points so far. But they do have a better goal average.
