Services of hoteliers, tour operators to be used for

Puducherry Welfare and Tourism Minister P Rajavelu today said Departments of Tourism and Information in Puducherry would use the service of hoteliers and tour and taxi operators to attract tourists to the planetarium opened on May 3.
Talking to reporters here today Rajavelu said the Department of Tourism was keen to ensure that the Union Territory achieved its goal of registering a 12 per cent growth in tourism in Puducherry.
Electricity and Education Minister T Thiagarajan said the planetarium had already started attracting good number of children.
Both the Ministers handed the brochures and pamphlets to hotel owners and tour operators.
