Services reachS final rounds of tournament

Services reached the final rounds of Santosh trophy football tournament defeating Tamil Nadu 2-1today in a group 'B' South Zone qualifying match played at the corporation stadium here.
Tamil Nadu was leading in the first half 1-0 through a goal at the 32nd minute scored by mid fielder Jockson Dhas A.
Services recovered to score in the second half through Arjun Tudu (66th) and Britto (at the 71st minute through a penalty shot).
In another match of the group, debutants Lakshadweep beat Telangana (1-0) through a solitary goal by mid fielder K T Ummer at the 54th minute of play.

Services led the points table scoring nine points with three wins followed by Tamil Nadu with seven points (two wins, one loss) in the second place.
Lakshadweep came third with today's win scoring three points (one win, two loss).
Telangana who lost all their matches remained at the bottom.
Yesterday, Kerala qualified to enter the final rounds of the tournament in group 'A".
