Sesame oil declines in thin trade

Barring a fall in sesame oil, other edible and non-edible oils after moving in a tight range on scattered deals, ended steady.
Traders said absence of worthwhile activity as demand from neighbouring states remained at a low ebb, mainly kept most of prices at previous levels.
In the national capital, sesame mill delivery oil fell by Rs 200 to Rs 10,000 per quintal.
The following were today's quotations per quintal:
Oilseeds: Mustardseed 2,950-3,050 and Groundnut Seed 2,150-2,900.
Vanaspati Ghee (15-litre tin) 1,120-1,340.

Edible oils: Groundnut Mill Delivery (Gujarat) 7,300, Groundnut Solvent Refined (per tin) 1,900-1,950, Mustard expeller (Dadri) 7,000, Mustard Pakki Ghani (per tin) 1,290-1,370, Mustard Kachi Ghani (per tin) 1,375-1,475, Sunflower 6,300, Sesame Mill Delivery 10,000, Soybean Refined Mill Delivery (Indore) 7,400, Soyabean Degum (Kandla) 7,200, Crude Palm Oil (Ex-Kandla) 5,700, Cottonseed Mill Delivery (Haryana) 6,200, Palmolein (RBD) Rs 6,700, Palmolein (Kandla) 6,350, Rice Bran (phy) 3,800 and Coconut (per tin) 1,900-1,950.

Non-edible oils: Linseed 7,400, Mahuwa 4,000, Castor 9,400-9,500, Neem 5,300-5,400, Rice Bran 3,150-3,250 and Palm Fatty 3,200-3,300.
Oilcakes: Groundnut Dehusk 800-850, Sesame 950-1,150, Mustard (New) 1,000-1,025, Mustard 1,200-1,210 and Cottonseed 1,075-1,175.
