Sesame oil falls on higher supply

Barring a fall in sesame oil on higher supplies, other edible and non-edible oils held steady on the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today.
Traders said besides sluggish demand, adequate stocks position on higher supplies led to fall in sesame oil prices.
In the national capital, sesame oil drifted by Rs 200 to Rs 9,400 per quintal.
The following were today's quotations per quintal:
Oilseeds: Mustardseed 2,950-3,050 and Groundnut Seed 2,150-2,900.
Vanaspati Ghee (15-litre tin) 1,120-1,340.

Edible oils: Groundnut Mill Delivery (Gujarat) 7,450, Groundnut Solvent Refined (per tin) 1,900-1,950, Mustard expeller (Dadri) 7,350, Mustard Pakki Ghani (per tin) 1,290-1,370, Mustard Kachi Ghani (per tin) 1,375-1,475, Sunflower 6,300, Sesame Mill Delivery 9,400, Soybean Refined Mill Delivery (Indore) 7,600, Soyabean Degum (Kandla) 7,400, Crude Palm Oil (Ex-Kandla) 5,750, Cottonseed Mill Delivery (Haryana) 6,400, Palmolein (RBD) Rs 6,950, Palmolein (Kandla) 6,600, Rice Bran (phy) 3,800 and Coconut (per tin)2,000-2,050.

Non-edible oils: Linseed 7,450, Mahuwa 4,000, Castor 9,500-9,600, Neem 5,300-5,400, Rice Bran 3,150-3,250 and Palm Fatty 3,200-3,300.
Oilcakes: Groundnut Dehusk 800-850, Sesame 950-1,150, Mustard (New) 1,000-1,025, Mustard 1,200-1,210 and Cottonseed 1,075-1,175.
