Sesame oil prices fell by Rs 200 per quintal in an otherwise steady wholesale wholesale oils and oilseeds market today on subdued demand.
However, other edible and non-edible oils continued to trade in a tight range in limited deals and settled around the previous levels.
Traders said low demand from retailers and vanaspati millers mainly led to the decline in sesame oil prices.
In the national capital, sesame mill delivery oil dropped by Rs 200 to Rs 7,000 per quintal.
