Sesame oil up on scattered buying

Sesame oil prices firmed up by Rs 100 per quintal in an otherwise steady wholesale oils and
Oilseeds market today following selective buying by retailers.
Linseed oil in the non-edible oil section, also moved up on fresh enquiries from paints industries.
Traders said scattered buying by retailers and vanaspati millers mainly attributed the rise in sesame oil prices.
In the national capital, sesame mill delivery oil rose by Rs 100 to Rs 8,000 per quintal.
Among non-edible, linseed oil hardened by Rs 50 to Rs 8,300 per quintal.
