Actor Seth Rogen will be starring in a new comedy from Sony Pictures.
The 36-year-old actor will play Herschel Greenbaum, a man who is preserved in a pickle barrel for 100 years and emerges out after a century in the middle of modern day Brooklyn, New York.
The film is based on a New Yorker novella from Simon Rich and cinematographer Brandon Trost is in negotiations to helm it, reported Variety.
Rich will adapt his own novella with Rogen, Evan Goldberg, and James Weaver producing the feature through their banner Point Grey.
Production is expected to begin next month in Pittsburgh.
