The incident occurred this morning when three tempos carrying passengers were hit by the truck killed two persons Shiv Sagar (60) and Narsingh (30) on the spot, they said.
Police said that 12 injured were admitted to Gorakhpur medical college where Shanker (24), Santosh (32), Chottelal (32), Musafir Ansari (32) and an unidentified person died during treatment.
