Seven of a family killed in road accident

Seven people of a family including two children and three women were killed today when a speeding container hit a car near Kalothara crossing here today, police said.
The victims were returning from Gujarat to Bhind (MP) after participating in a marriage ceremony.
"Seven persons travelling in a SUV were killed this morning in an accident near Kalothara crossing under Subhashpura police station when it was hit by a speeding container. The incident occurred about 40-kms from the district headquarters on Agra-Bombay Road (AB Road)," Sub Divisional Officer Police (SDOP) GD Sharma said.
"Four persons died on the spot while three others died on their way to the district hospital. Nine persons were travelling in the SUV. Two injured persons were taken to Gwalior for treatment," he added.

Sharma said all the deceased belonged to the family of one Ramkumar Shrivas, a resident of Bhind.
Shrivas along with another man, three women and two children died in the accident.
However, the deceased have not been identified yet, he added.
We have registered a case and investigating further into the incident, Sharma added.
