Eleven women had underwent surgery at sterilisation camps held in Koni and Lavar villages under Masturi development block on August 2 and 5 respectively, Bilaspur Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) BB Bode said today.
Masturi block is located around 25 kms from Bilaspur headquarter.
Four days after the operation, around seven of them complained of pain and uneasiness following which their examination was done at Masturi community health centre (CHC).
Today, a team of doctors led by CMHO went to the villages and visited the house of women who had complained of pain.

The women informed the health team that they had developed pain and infection after the surgery, he said.
Of the seven women, six -Rajni, Pushpa,Islekha (25), Ashwani (24), Rukhmani (25) and Gauri (27) were today shifted to Bilaspur district hospital for a complete medical examination.
After they were found normal, the women were discharged and sent back to their homes, he said.
Meanwhile, a senior health official informed that taking serious cognizance of the matter, chief minister Raman Singh has ordered a probe in the matter.
In November 2014, 13 women had died after sterilisation at government family planning camps in the same Bilaspur district.
