Shah, who was accompanied by Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, stayed there for about 30 minutes and interacted with Mahant Chand Nath on various issues of religious and political significance, state BJP chief Subhash Barala said.
Haryana's minister of state for Cooperation Manish Grover who is also MLA from Rohtak and senior BJP leader Anil Jain welcomed Shah and Khattar at the Baba Mastnath Math, about 5 km from here.
Amit Shah arrived here on Wednesday on a three-day visit to Haryana. With an eye on the 2019 Lok Sabha polls, he is on a countrywide tour to strategise and find ways to strengthen the party at the grassroot level.
