Superstar Shah Rukh Khan did not disappoint his fans despite nursing a shoulder injury as he enthralled the audience with a power packed performance on his hit numbers like 'dard-e-disco' and 'Chhaiya chhaiya' at the first Times of India Film Awards (TOIFA).
The 47-year-old, who suffered an injury on the sets of his upcoming film 'Chennai Express', began his act by humming the poem from 'Jab Tak hai Jaan' before playing a guitar and dancing through his hit numbers like 'Suraj hua madham', 'dard e disco', 'Chhaiya chhaiya' and 'Chamak Chalo'.
"I love you all people, thanks for all the love and respect that you people have shown for me," he said.
Shah Rukh did not compromise on his energy level as he worked his charm on the crowd that had reserved the loudest cheers for the 'Badshah of Bollywood'.
The actor, however, apologised to them, saying his shoulder injury would probably prevent him from dancing his best.
SRK told Cristy Clark, the Premier of British Columbia, who was in the audience in a salwar-kameez, that she was looking so beautiful that he wanted to take her to Bollywood and make her an actress.
