The 52-year-old star, who was speaking at the Yes Bank and Economic Times Global Business submit, read the disclaimer which stated that the intention of his speech was not to hurt the sentiments of any fringes that "may not exist today but will evolve later".
"Anything that might have hurt sentiments of any group or groups of people is unintentional and without malice... I don't even know you guys. This may also include any new organisation, trust or new hooligans or new fringes that may not exist today but will evolve later. It does not include boys and girls who have fringe hair cut. I love Sadhan ji," Shah Rukh read leaving the audience in splits.
SRK quipped that he has also attached a written apology to the speech-- his thumb print and signature.
"Also please do not troll me for this speech for my star status, religion or handsomeness. Just accept the fact some guys have all the luck and are just sexy. And finally to everybody please do not ban my films," he concluded.
