Shahan Ali Mohsin, Nirmal Umashankar, Ricky emerge winners

Shahan Ali Mohsin from Agra (Team Meco Racing), Nirmal Umashankar from Chennai (Team Meco Racing) and Bangalore boy Ricky Donison (Team BPC Racing) emerged champions in their respective categories in Round 3 of the JK Tyre-FMSCI National Karting Championship here today.
Chirag Ghorpade from Bangalore representing Team BPC Racing who started off from the pole position clocked second best time, followed by Nikhil Bohra from Bangalore who secured third place.
In the Junior Max Nirmal, who started from the pole position in the pre-finals, crossed the line first and Mohmmed Nallwalla and Akash Gowda who placed second and third.
In the Senior Max category, Ameya Bafna put up a tough fight to emerge first, while Nayan Chatterjee and Vishnu Prasad finished second and third in the pre finals.
In the finals, it was a stiff competition between Shahan and Nikhil throughout the race, however Shahan continued to dominate and clinched Number one place.
Nikhil who was also brilliant on the track placed second, while Chirag, finished third.

It was Ricky Donison, the winner of Round two, who took away the chequered flag in the Senior Max final yet again.
Ameya drove his way to a second position and the third place was secured by Nayan.

Junior Max (18 laps): Nirmal Umashankar -Akash Gowda - Mohmmed Nallwalla.
Senior Max (20 laps): Ricky Donison - 12:58. 273, Ameya Bafna - 12:58. 290, Nayan Chatterjee - 12:58. 351.
