Participating in the debate, Yadav, who was NDA convener before the JD (U) parted ways with BJP recently, praised Congress President Sonia Gandhi for "speaking in the language of the country" on the bill.
"I felt good to see that Sonia Gandhi spoke in the language of the country. People of the country also understand the language very well," he said.
This prompted Aditya Nath to take a dig at the JD-U president, saying Yadav's showering of praises on Gandhi is "match-fixing".
"All the saints are behind the bars. Yogiji is sitting with us here," he said.

The House also witnessed DMK's T R Baalu telling Basudeb Acharia of CPI(M) to look at "your Russia" when comparing Human Development Index of India and other countries.
Baalu made this remark when Acharia, who was chairing the debate, asked him to wind up his debate as the time allocated was over.
He made this remarks after Baalu referred to policies implemented during the first UPA government's period including MNREGA, NRHM and Sarva Siksha Abhiyan.
When Congress MPs said that chair should not make such remarks, Acharia said this was "observation made by the chair".
