Sharan-Raja in quarters of Tashkent ATP Challenger
Press Trust of India Tashkent Second seed Divij Sharan and Purav Raja of India today moved into the quarterfinals of the USD 125,000 Tashkent Challenger after notching up a hard-fought win over the Italian pair of Andrea Arnaboldi and Thomas Fabbian in the doubles event, here.
The duo of Sharan-Raja overcame a first set deficit to beat their opponents 5-7 6-3 10-3 in a contest that lasted one hour and 19 minutes at the Olympic tennis school complex.
The fast rising Indian pair will meet Tunisia's Malek Jaziri and Farrukh Dustov of Uzbekistan in the quarters tomorrow.
