Sharan-Shamasdin bow out of Tashkent ATP Challenger

Divij Sharan along with his Canadian partner Adil Shamasdin were handed an upset defeat by unseeded duo of Radu Albot of Moldavia and Lithuania's Ricardas Berankis in straight sets in the men's doubles first round of the USD 125000 Tashkent ATP Challenger here today.
Fourth seeded Indo-Canadian pair went down 2-6 4-6 against its unseeded rivals to bow out of the tournament.
With this defeat, India's campaign in the men's doubles ended as Yuki Bhambri and his New Zealand partner Michael Venus had yesterday lost their doubles first round game.
However, Yuki has kept India's hopes alive in the singles competition.
