Minister for Interior Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan briefed the meeting about the status of raising of rapid response forces at the federal and provincial level.
Already the anti-terrorism rapid response force has started patrolling in the capital Islamabad and the province ares also supposed to set up similar forces to combat terrorism.
"Prime Minister appreciated the improved coordination with in law enforcement and intelligence agencies in Balochistan and resultant improvement in law and order situation there," said his office.
Chief of the Army Staff General Raheel Sharif, DG ISI Lt General Zahir-ul-Islam and Chief of General Staff Lt General Ashfaq Nadeem also attended the crucial meeting.
The meeting is of great significance due to announcement by powerful Taliban commander Hafiz Gul Bahadur of North Waziristan that he is ending about seven-year-old peace agreement with the government.
There are reports that security force might launch full-scale operation in the district.
