During the 14-month exchange for change program organised by Delhi-based 'Routes2Roots' NGO and The Citizens Archive of Pakistan, students from both nations will write letters and exchange visual and oral history as heard from their elders.
Rakesh Gupta, founder of 'Routes2Roots' said this would enable the students of Kolkata to exchange cultural ideas with Pakistan students.
Schools participating from Kolkata are Modern High School, Lakshmipat Singhania Academy, La Martiniere for Boys, Abhinav Bharati, Saifee Hall and Chowringhee High School.
Around 6200 children from 37 schools of Delhi, Mumbai, Dehradun and Lahore, Karachi and Rawalpindi/Islamabad from Pakistan are part of the Exchange for Change program.
