The exchanges took place when National Peoples Party MLA Kirori Lal Meena sought to raise the issue of the BJP's alleged order to its woman MLA Chandrakanta Meghwal, who had hit the headlines recently after her husband allegedly slapped a policeman at a local police station here.
Meena sought to raise the issue through an adjournment motion but Speaker Kailash Meghwal refused him the permission saying the same could not be raised suddenly without prior notice with sufficient time.
The exchanges turned sharper with Leader of Opposition Rameshwar Dudi too joining Meena to raise the issue pertaining to the dalit woman MLA of the ruling party.
Most of the exchanges, however, were ordered by the Speaker to be expunged, with State Parliamentary Affairs Minister Rajendra Rathore denying Meena's allegations as "baseless."
Talking to the reporters later, Dr Meena reiterated that MLA Meghwal had been asked by the parliamentary affair minister to stay away from the House.
