Sharp shooter arrested in Pratapgarh

An alleged sharp shooter has been arrested following an encounter at Kusmi railway crossing here, police said today.
Shooter Dhananjay alias Aditya was chased and nabbed yesterday by the police team after he refused to halt his bike at a check post, they said.
A pistol and number of cartridges were recovered from his possession, they said.
Dhananjay was in the city to allegedly extort a businessman whom he had threatened earlier, police said, adding that further investigations are underway.
