Up against Thailand's Varatchaya Wonteanchai in the second round of the USD 25,000 ITF, qualifier Sharrmadaa lost the hard-fought contest 6-7 (20-22) 6-7 (4) late on Wednesday night.
It was the longest ever tie-break played in a main draw.
Before this, Spain's Clara Schumacher-Terron had won the first set tie-break 27-25 against Finland's Jenny Saarnilina in the qualifying event of a USD 10,000 ITF event in August 2005.
During an USD 10,000 ITF event in Buenos Aires in September 2010, Argentina's Giuliana Pino had won the third set tie-break 21-19 against Paraguay's Montserrat Gonzalez but that was also in the Qualifiers.
Pino had won that match 3-6 6-3 7-6 (21-19).
