"He is fragile and on dialysis.. Three days a week he is on dialysis. He does watch TV be it films or anything. He is surrounded by family members.
"I did take him once to see Rockstar, he liked Ranbir's performance but was not aware that he was his nephew. He also likes Kareena's work," Kunal added.
Shashi Kapoor's hand impression tile was unveiled by Kunal on behalf of his father for 'Walk of the Stars' at Prithvi Theatre.
All through out the occasion, Kapoor who is wheel chair bound, folded his hands in a gesture to thank everyone. When the tile was unveiled he even clapped.

"It is a good way to honour and acknowledge artistes who have contributed to the film industry. My dad was a very good actor.. To choose any one or few of his my favourite films would be unfair. He was never bothered about awards...He shrugged them off," Kunal said.
The tile will later be installed at Walk of the Stars promenade at Bandstand, Bandra. The celebrated star's hand print will join the tiles of rest of the Kapoor clan at the Walk of the Stars.
The 75-year-old cinema veteran is the younger brother of Raj and Shammi Kapoor, and the son of Prithviraj Kapoor.
He started acting in plays at the age of four, which were directed by his father and has worked as child artist in films. He later starred in a large number of Hindi films as well as a few English-language films.
Shashi's memorable films include 'Deewar', 'Kabhie Kabhie', 'Namak Halal', 'Kaala Pathar' among others.
