Sinha, MP from Patna Saheb, paid a visit to the Mutt in Fatuha block of the rural Patna.

The well in the complex has historical importance for sikhs and people of other faiths. The spot has all the potential to grow into a major tourist attraction if it is provided better infrastructural facilities, he told PTI.

The site falls in the parliamentary constituency of Sinha.

Sinha who served as Union minister in the NDA government of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, said tourism has emerged as major revenue earner for Bihar and developing more sites would increase the flow of tourists from within the country as well foreigners.

He expressed happiness that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was giving top priority to tourism and said new spots should be added to the list.

"It is heartening to know that Bihar has received a huge number of tourists particularly foreigners... The change in environment in the state is encouraging more and more people to come here," he said.

Pointing out that Bihar was attracting praise from across the world, he hailed the functioning of JD(U)-BJP coalition rule in the state.
