Delhi Chief Minister Sheila
Diskhit today had a dig at Aam Aadmi Party alleging a new outfit was misleading people by disseminating their survey reports stating that their party leader has emerged the favourite CM claimant lagging behind two other established parties in Delhi.
"Their figures vary from one electric pole to another electric pole nearby where they have installed their small hoardings," she said without naming AAP.
Dixit was speaking after inaugurating the ninth e-Sub registrar office at Kanjhawala for registration of properties.
She said the new system would not only save an applicant from making rounds of the Registrar's office but also allow them a pre-fixed appointment taken online by accessing the website of the Revenue Department.
"This signifies a quantum leap forward by the Revenue Department in its series of reforms to make the public experience of registration and stamping completely modernised and user-friendly. The Revenue Department intends to overhaul the conventional registration process," Dikshit said.
She said a foundation stone had been laid by the then President of India in 1997-98 for a Rural Development Centre at Kanjhawala. "But nothing moved forward.
