Shiv Sena chief Uddhav puts onus of alliance on MNS
Press Trust of India Mumbai Dismayed over Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray's recent rejection of Shiv Sena's offer to ally with it, Shiv Sena president Uddhav Thackeray today put the onus on the MNS. "It is not a table tennis match. I said what I had to (about the alliance)," Uddhav told reporters. Uddhav had recently called for an alliance with the Raj Thackeray-led MNS through his party mouthpiece Saamana. Reacting to it, Raj had clarified recently that he had no intention to form any alliance with the Shiv Sena, since his party planned to win elections on its own.
