"The leadership of Shiv Sena is very weak. More than one and a half years ago some Shiv Sena workers had stoned my vehicle and damaged it. I had taken the matter to the party leadership but no action was taken to date," said Dudhgaonkar, speaking to reporters here.
He joined NCP yesterday at a function in Pune.
Dudhgaonkar said he was feeling "suffocated" within Shiv Sena as the party workers insulted him on several occasions.
Sena president Uddhav Thackeray was not competent and could not take decisions on his own, he added.
