Shoot-out between police, Naxals in Gadchiroli

Police exchanged fire with Naxals near village Murgel in Bhamragad tehsil of Gadchiroli district of Maharashtra this morning.
There were no reports of casualties but explosives were seized from the spot, said Additional Superintendent of Police Rahul Shrirame.
District police and CRPF jawans were carrying out a combing operation in the area when Naxals opened fire.
Ultras fled when the police and CRPF jawans retaliated, and two detonators and explosives were found near the spot.
