Shop owner shot dead

A 50-year-old shopkeeper was
shot dead apparently over a property dispute, police said today.
Shakil was shot dead in Kandhla town yesterday while he was on his way to his tea shop, Circle Officer Bhushan Verma said.
A case has been registered against four persons namely Amjad, Farukh, Wahid and Azad in the incident, he said.
A property dispute is stated to be the reason behind the murder, police said, adding investigation was on.
