Saina posted a picture with Shraddha, who joined her and coach Pullela Gopichand for a training session today.
"Today's badminton practice session ... Gopi sir , @ShraddhaKapoor and me #Biopic" Saina captioned the photo.
"Saina" will be directed by Amol Gupte, who has helmed movies such as "Stanley Ka Dabba" and "Hawa Hawaai".
Shraddha, 30, is also part of another biopic "Haseena", based on Dawood Ibrahim's sister Haseena Parkar.
