Accusing Ministers of indulging in "religion politics", Leader of the Opposition Jagadish Shettar questioned whether the government was "dead or alive".
"Three moths are left for elections in the state, the government has still not taken off," he said during the debate on the motion of thanks to Governor for his address to the assembly.
He said "take off has only happened in advertisements, this government has created a record of sorts in advertisements."
He also hit out at Ministers M B Patil and VinayKulkarni who are actively involved in organising conventionsdemanding separate religion status to dominant Lingayat community.

"The Chief Minister gave other work to theseministers, instead of looking after their departments. Theywere indulging in religion politics and organising conventionsfor them," Shettar alleged.
Calling Siddaramaiah regime as "non performing" government, the senior BJP leader claimed people were asking "is the government there or not? Is it alive or dead?"
"Food and civil services department has seenCommissioners being changed 19 times in four years," hesaid.
