Siemens bags Rs 79-cr order from Suzlon to supply gear boxes

Siemens Ltd today said it has won an order of Rs 79 crore from wind turbine maker Suzlon Energy Ltd to supply gear boxes.
"The scope of work for the project includes supply of Winergy brand gear boxes of 2.1 MW capacity for wind turbines," Siemens said in a statement.

Delayed Coking unit commissioned at Paradip Refinery * Indian Oil Corporation Limited's refinery project in Paradip has achieved a significant milestone in its journey towards becoming fully operational with commissioning of the Delayed Cooking Unit (DCU).
With commissioning of the 4.1 MMTPA DCU, Paradip Refinery will be able to upgrade the vacuum residue to higher value products, said refinery's Executive Director Ramjee Ram.

The 'Denver Superman' deodorants will be available in two variants - Power and Strength - and will be priced at Rs 250.
