Siemens shares rise 4 pc post Rs 113 cr order win

Siemens shares today rose over 4 per cent after the company said it has bagged an order worth about Rs 113 crore from Power Grid Company of Bangladesh.
The stock gained 4.21 per cent to settle at Rs 1,257.90 on BSE. During the day, it surged 4.58 per cent to Rs 1,262.50.
On NSE, it rose by 4.14 per cent to end at Rs 1,256.55.
The company's market valuation surged by Rs 1,809.37 crore to Rs 44,796.37 crore.
"Siemens Ltd... Together with Siemens Bangladesh Ltd.. Has won an order worth approximately Rs 113 crore from Power Grid Company of Bangladesh Limited (PGCB) to design, procure, supply, install, test and commission 230/132kV Gas Insulated Switchgear Substation along with 225/300 MVA, 132/33 KV and 50/75 MVA Transformers at Keraniganj within Dhaka," Siemens said in a BSE filing today.
Siemens focuses on the areas of electrification, automation and digitalisation.
