The Hindu Makkal Katchi (HMK) today launched its signature campaign in support of Uniform Civil Code across Tamil Nadu.
The campaign, aimed at collecting 10 lakh signatures, was launched by HMK President Arjun Sampath, after submitting a memorandum to the collector requesting him to forward it to the Centre.
Sampath later told reporters that the party workers will collect signature from those supporting the implementation of the code proposed by NDA Government. The campaign will be on till November 20, he said.
