Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal who reviewed today the law and order situation at Silapathar in Dhemaji over the attack on an AASU office there on March 6 by NIBBUSS, gave orders to arrest Biswas at the earliest.
DGP Mukesh Sahay informed the Chief Minister about the clues found during investigation which would be vital in nabbing Biswas, an official release said.
He also informed that Nagpur and Kolkata police were alerted about Biswas.
All the 37 other accused named in the FIR and found involved in the incident during investigation were arrested.

Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order) Mukesh Agarwal has been camping in Silapathar since March 7, a day after the incident, and would be there to carry on the investigation, the DGP informed Sonowal.
Last week, the DGP had announced a reward of Rs one lakh to anyone who would give any information leading to arrest of Biswas.
