Silver traded up Rs 72 at Rs 34,349 per kg in futures trading today as participants indulged in enlarging positions amid a firm trend in precious metals overseas.
In futures trading, silver for delivery in March was up by Rs 72, or 0.21%, at Rs 34,349 per kg at the Multi Commodity Exchange, in a business turnover of 600 lots.
Likewise, the white metal for delivery in far-month May gained Rs 63, or 0.18%, to Rs 34,711 per kg in 12 lots.
Meanwhile, silver was up 0.5% to $14.09 an ounce in Singapore today.
