Silver prices moved down by 0.30% to Rs 44,911 per kg in futures trade today as speculators partially offloaded positions amid a weak global trend.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver for delivery in September shed Rs 137, or 0.30%, to Rs 44,911 per kg in a business turnover of 194 lots.
Similarly, the white metal for delivery in December declined by Rs 234, or 0.29%, to Rs 45,750 per kg in nine lots.
Meanwhile, silver fell 0.50% to $21.05 an ounce in Singapore today.
