Silver prices fell 0.20 per cent to Rs 38,729 per kg in futures trade today as speculators trimmed positions amid a weakening trend overseas.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver for delivery in March next year traded lower by Rs 77, or 0.20 per cent, to Rs 38,729 per kg in a business turnover of 21 lots.
Similarly, the white metal for delivery in December eased by Rs 54, or 0.14 per cent, to Rs 38,020 per kg in business volume of 405 lots.
