Silver futures on Thursday traded 0.92 per cent higher at Rs 46,541 per kg as investors raised their positions supported by positive global trend.
On Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts to be delivered in December traded higher by Rs 422, or 0.92 per cent, at Rs 46,541 per kg in 10,644 lots.
Similarly, the white metal for March delivery traded higher by Rs 467, or 1 per cent, at Rs 47,356 per kg in a business turnover of 1,253 lots.
In the international market, silver was 1.02 per cent up at USD 18.05 an ounce in New York.
