Silver futures traded 0.41 per cent higher at Rs 45,360 per kg on Wednesday as investors raised their positions supported by positive global trend.
On Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) silver contracts to be delivered in December was trading higher by Rs 184, or 0.41 per cent, at Rs 45,360 per kg in 2,533 lots.
Similarly, the white metal for March delivery traded higher by Rs 174, or 0.38 per cent, at Rs 46,190 per kg in a business turnover of 37 lots.
In the international market, silver was up 0.26 per cent at USD 17.55 an ounce in New York.
