At the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver for delivery in July month rose by Rs 193, or 0.47 per cent to Rs 41,420 per kg in business turnover of 7,023 lots.
Similarly, the white metal for delivery in far-month September contracts traded higher by Rs 195, or 0.47 per cent to Rs 41,969 per kg in 149 lots.
Marketmen said increasing their bets by traders on the back of firming trend in global markets, mainly kept silver prices higher at futures trade here.
