Silver fell by Rs 20 to Rs 36,057 per kg in futures market today amid a weak global trend.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver for delivery in December shed Rs 20, or 0.06 per cent, to Rs 36,057 per kg in a business turnover of 5,632 lots.
The white metal for delivery in far-month March next year shed Rs 23, or 0.06 per cent to Rs 36,790 per kg in 27 lots.
Analysts said offloading of positions by speculators, tracking a weak trend in global markets as some Federal Reserve policy makers suggested the US central bank may still raise interest rates this year, weighed on silver futures.
Globally, silver lost 0.3 per cent to USD 15.13 an ounce in Singapore, snapping three days of gains.
