Silver for delivery in December was trading notably higher by Rs 186, or 0.56 per cent at Rs 33,485 per kg in a business turnover of five lots at the Multi Commodity Exchange.
March silver soared Rs 145, or 0.42 per cent to Rs 34,321 per kg in 477 lots.
Analysts said a firming trend in the global market as the rally in the dollar paused, boosting the metal's allure and weakened dollar, mainly influenced silver futures here.
