Stating that Jharkhand is the first state in the country to have set up single window system, he said 78 out of 100 approved single windows are functioning (2016-17) and work is also on for the hundred approved single windows for 2017-18 fiscal.
Addressing a press conference here as the government is completing thousand days, the minister said there was a coverage of grains in 22.65 lakh hectare land in 2014-15 while it has been increased to 32 per cent with 30 lakh hectare coverage. The production of grains has also increased from 51.125 lakh metric tonne to 68.82 lakh metric tonne, he said.
For advance storage of fertilser, farmers were given 8898 metric tonne fertiliser, he said.
Jharkhand is the first state to give 7.95 lakh Mudra Health Cards to farmers.

To give pace to distribution of seed and other works, Jharkhand State Agriculture Corporation has been set up, the minister said.
To minimise the problems of farmers, Mukhya Mantri Kisan Help Line (0651-2490542, 7632996429) were introduced on April 22 this year.
A total 151 village level tool banks have been set up, from which farmers could take tools on rent, he said.
The minister said that those farmers repaying loans on time would be charged only one per cent interest instead of seven per cent interest.
A total 2319 ponds were renovated to increase irrigation facilities, he said.
The minister also said that milk production has increased to 54 lakh litre in 2016/17 from 38 litre in 2014-15.
